Dr. Neal Naranjo, the Naranjo Museum of Natural History, and Professor Peter Andrew, Stephen F. Austin School of Art, co-presented at the Foundations in Art: Theory and Education (FATE) conference in Savannah, Georgia, April 3 thru 6.
Naranjo Museum spotlighted in The Lufkin News
The Naranjo Museum of Natural History is now featuring a moon rock display of an Apollo 15 lunar sample collected by Astronaut James Irwin at Station 8, adjacent to the lunar module landing.

The Naranjo Museum of Natural History is the lastest addition to Lufkin’s museum and education community. Dr. Neal and Mary Ann Naranjo opened the museum to give exploring minds the opportunity to see history first hand.

Naranjo Museum Announces Moon Rock Exhibit
An out of this world exhibit is coming to East Texas for the first time. A moon rock and space helmet will be on display at the Naranjo Museum beginning Feb. 1st.
Bad to the Bone: T-Rex Joins Museum Collection
Neal Naranjo and his team put the finishing touches on Bubba Rex the only life-size, T-Rex replica in East Texas. The bones were cast from a real T-Rex fossil, “Stan,” which was found in the Spring of 1987 in the Hell Creek formation near Buffalo S.D.
Reagan’s Dinosaur Celebration
