Dig Site, Where to Find Fossils A A

The tools and equipment shown in the dig site were used to dig up Mary Ann Hadrosaur in Montana. For
the easy ground we were able to use a shovel and pick but for the harder ground we had to break through with the jack hammer in order to retrieve her from the earth. As you can see it takes many different tools from Spam to a jack hammer to dig up a dinosaur.

What kind of fossils can you find on the surface here in Lufkin, Texas? The Where to Find Fossils
posters shows the Geologic times of all the land on the surface in the United States and Texas. Here in Lufkin most of our fossils can be dated to the Cenozoic time period around 20 million years ago to 1.8 million years ago.
